De Volksteller by Constant

New at Olla Art is ‘De Volksteller’ (census taker) by Constant. In this work, the artist uses a special etching technique.
The spacious sheet, as we are used to from Constant, is in good condition. The work is framed in a sleek aluminium frame, which can be replaced if desired.
Only 20 copies and a few proofs of the etching were printed, probably by the Amsterdam master printer Piet Clement. The work is described and depicted as number 123 in the catalogue of Constant’s graphic work.¹ It can also be found in the work catalogue on the website of the Constant Foundation.
