Buying a work of art is not something you do every day. And, when you buy a work of art, you want to be able to enjoy it for a long period of time. It is not something to take lightly. The image of a work of art on a website can give you a good impression of the real work, but in general it is not enough to base your purchase decision upon. You should see a work ‘live’, preferably in the home environment. Olla Art makes this possible. You make your choice, and we come and show you the piece.* That allows you to see and experience the work in your own environment. Only after that, you can decide if you either want to buy the work, or continue your search.
In addition, Olla Art offers a unique exchange service. It is possible to exchange your work of art for a work of at least the same price, within the period of three months after purchase.

Our artists
Olla Art is specialised in art from 1945 up to the present day. The focus lies on Cobra artists like Karel Appel, Constant, Corneille, Eugène Brands, Lucebert, Asger Jorn en Pierre Alechinsky. Next to that, Olla Art offers works by a variety of artists, among them Klaas Gubbels, Roger Raveel and Marino Marini.
Framing service
If you buy a work of art which is unframed, or if you want to replace an existing frame, we can arrange an appropriate and professional frame for your work of art. It goes without saying that this occurs whilst consulting with you. We can also advise you in selecting an appropriate frame and choosing a professional frame maker.
Shipping
At your request, we can ship the desired work of art to your home address. There are exceptions to this rule, as not every work of art is fit to be shipped. You are not charged for the costs of packing and shipping, unless the costs exceed the amount of 20 euros.
Our guarantee
In general, all works of art that we offer, are in excellent condition. If this is not the case, this will be explicitly stated in the description.
We fully guarantee the authenticity of all works we sell at Olla Art. Every sold work is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. As a rule, the works have personally been signed by the artist, and when this is not the case, we fully guarantee that the work is a work by the artist.
If possible, we specify the provenance of the work in our description, and when a work is recorded in a catalogue raisonné, we give the exact reference.
What we also do
Apart from offering works of art for sale, we also provide art advice. When you want to buy a piece at a gallery or art fair, we can advise you. We can help you build up an art collection, and we accept search assignments. We do art appraisals and can sell art for you, for example when you have inherited a single painting or a whole art collection.
We work for private buyers as well as for companies.
